Aaron's memorial paddle at MBK 08.27.11

 

I launched late, but I was stoked to paddle out with Al & Sara, and Mdoka Matt.
Matt & I fished around the red can. I started picking up some sand dabs but only one at a time. In 140 FOW that is a lot of reeling to bring such small fish. Al & Fishmaster paddle over and we do a few drifts across a reef out there but no real love on the swimbaits.
The beach hang was lots of fun & good food. I'm sure Aaron would have been happy to see his peeps having a good time in the sunshine.

I just now had to run an errand, and when I closed the truck hatch a shower of sand spilled off it-indicator of good times being had. .

A great triumph to all of you. Smiling faces bouy a saddened heart. Brotherhood and sisterhood is the way.

The first time I met Aaron he offered me some some fresh batter fried halibut, and made sure I had the tartar sauce to go along with it. It was the bomb! May Aaron's soul rest in peace. You guys are great for doing this.
