Looking forward to seeing what you have done.  We met at Pt. Richmond.  I have not done anything to my Radar.  Will be getting going on in in next couple of weeks.  Too much work, and not enough play.

1. Fixed the rudder control.
2. Replaced plastic seat adjustments with metal ones.
3. Replaced small hatch cover seal and turned the rubber washer nuts the correct direction.
4. Added the new Wildy Crate
5. Added Boonedox Landing gear
6. New FF to OS pod with ram ball mount on side rail.
7. Added rubber gasket to OS POD.
8. Added 4 Scotty rocket launch rod holders.
9. Added a flag with light for launching in the dark and fog.

Still to do:
1. Replace front hatch gasket and turn the rubber seal nuts the correct direction (leaks).
2. Replace rudder line (fraying).
3. add GoPro mounts (3)

Hey Ron, just a quick tip.  Make sure when you mount your lights (LED strips I assume) that you can't see them at all when sitting in the seat.  I've seen several installs recently where people have added lights that are in easy view when you're sitting in your seat.  If you can see the strips even the slightest bit then they'll blind you completely when you turn them on at night.  I need to take some pics of the installs that I've done on my Hobies one of these days to give folks some reference material and things to look out for.

Can't wait to see the Radar in action!  I wish you guys were going to make it out to the Kelsey Bass Ranch HOW event!!  It won't be the same without you guys!!  Watching the girls make the bull frogs "talk" last year was absolutely hysterical!!

I’m making plans to rig mine. What are your ideas? How did you rig lights? Pictures would be great.

Did you just decide lights weren't worth it or was there something that made them undesirable?

I don't do enough on the water in the dark to justify the time or expense. I am more than happy with my headlight early morn or eve which is perfectly legal for night operation on a kayak. Plus whenever you have an on board light your night vision will be hurt for seeing in the distance, horizons etc. Even the fish finder screen hurts your vision. I turn mine as low as it goes when out at night. If launching early on a busy lake I run my Visicarbon light on the rear of the kayak, but the position does not really hurt vision too much.
