Launched at 6:10 to calm conditions and plenty of bait nearshore. Made my way north to the pier but had no luck. Decided to turn around and head south and west toward the boat fleet. Hooked and released a shaker at 7:45 about 1.5 miles off the south end of sharp park. Stayed in the area and followed the bait and whales. Put my first keeper in around 9:00 in the same area. Dropped my go home fish about 30 minutes later. Soon after the jellyfish rolled in thick. I decided to follow the whale activity further west in hopes the jellies would thin out. Got way out there and it was actually fishable. Made a turn toward the beach at noon and got my 2nd fish 10 minutes later. All my fish came between 30-35ft on the downrigger on anchovies with an in line flasher in front. Hooked 6 dropped 2 nicer fish, released 2 shakers and kept a 26" and 20.5". Sounded slow for the pb fleet with reports of many shakers and jellyfish. The two fish I gutted were stuffed with anchovies. Good luck to all going tomorrow. Sounds like HMB has more action.

That’s a good day on the water.

I lost a huge one today and it was in the net. Can’t stop thinking about it.  I have to go back out until I can get a limit of keepers.

Nice job. The shadow of your strap made it look like you strapped down your catch

Its a Wilderness Radar 135 peddle drive. Second time out on it and I really like it. My first peddle drive and it makes trolling so much easier.
