The Titan 12 shipments have arrived on the West Coast!  For more information about this model, check out Native's website:
http://nativewatercraft.com/product/titan-propel-12/

Model           Length            Width           Fitted Hull Weight*   Fully Rigged Weight**           Depth @ Beam   Capacity
Titan Propel 12   12' / 366 cm   39" / 99 cm   109 lbs / 49 kg           138 lbs / 63 kg   13" / 33 cm   500 lbs / 227 kg

The boat is HUGE, of course, but did actually come in slightly under my guesstimate from a weight standpoint.

Features -
Lots of groove tracks all around the boat
Rod tip protectors and rod butt stagers
Transducer mount location in the hull
Gigantic front bow hatch
Rear Split Paddle holders
Integrated Rudder, moved closer amidships for better maneuverability compared to older models.

See walkthrough video from Ryan Lambert, Native Pro-Staff:

These boats are currently in stock at the following Native Watercraft Dealers:
Headwaters Kayak - Lodi, CA
Kayak City - Sacramento

Dan @ Headwaters is planning to put together a video soon on the Titan 12, so keep an eye out for it through his Facebook and Youtube channels. Dan will also have a demo model available at the boathouse, and we will have the entire Titan lineup available at the Lodi Lake Paddlefest on Saturday, April 21.

Thanks,

The 13.5 has been out since last year.  See my Lineup post for more details. Haven't had any time in the 12 yet to give info, but I think it will be a great "sweet spot" boat.  If I owned a pickup truck I'd totally pick up the 12. It's probably a bit too much weight to really cartop for me.

:smt003  Gotta sell those Hobies!

Just kidding.  The Titan 13.5 is a great boat, but its a lot more of a boat than the other models is. At 42" wide and over 150lbs, its a serious machine, but a bit of a burden to handle off the water.  This Titan 12 really looks sweet and an awesome platform.  The Titan13.5 is a much larger version of everything the 12 is.  It has more stern storage and more space up front.  It has a nice feature where the seat can slide all the way to the back of the boat if you want a complete open deck, enough to even lay down in. It also has four rod tip protectors compared to two on the Titan 12.  But I would say it probably won't be much faster than the 12.  Not many other differences than that.
