Nothing big or fancy, but my dogue helped me make a couple 30x36" raised garden beds so we can increase our growing area.

Hacked together from a pallet scavanged from a neighbor's trash pile.

There was enough decent wood for two, one 1' and the other 6" deep. These are just for amended soil and will sit on top of the slightly compost-amended Oakland clay we've got in the back yard.

Been noticing reasonable quantities of dry goods are rarer and more expensive than they should be.

On that front, my wiphe and I have been buying larger quantities of staples as it's been a more reliable way to get some things (flour, yeast, rice, etc.).

To that end, if you're like us and not going into stores, https://meh.com/ has navy and great northern beans in 25# bags today (they usually only sell one item/day) for $34 + $5 shipping.

It didn't feel like a stellar deal, but it does seem the going rate on these is substantially higher (cheapest I could find was about 20-30% higher, Amazon was absurd ($85 for identical product/package), walmart had in-store only options, all shipping-eligible options were sold out.

I've used meh a bunch in the past. They're fairly slow to ship, but otherwise great to deal with. Meh is from the same guy that founded Woot back in the day, returning to the original Woot biz model.

for the sake of completionism, I must mention Zombeavers.

While I have sat through every disgusting frame of that movie...twice...I cannot recommend viewing it...without sitting through the closing credits, which simply recap the move in its entirety.

RE: Coffee and stocking up: get green coffee beans and learn to roast your own. Keeps a hell of a lot longer before roasting, and can be had very cheaply if you're accustomed to buying nice coffee.

Been doing this for a long time now, but picked up just shy of 30# to tide us through the apocalypse. (I usually buy this much about once a year, lasts around 6-8 months in our house). I use a camp stove in the back yard and crank-popcorn popper to roast a pound at a time. Hot air poppers can also be used, but can't roast much at once.

This seems like a hobby that I need in my life.

What is the best way to store green coffee?

Definitely a fun little hobby. Like any other, it's possible to take it too far, but for just a little meditative coffee roasting from time to time, it's good. And hey, coffee!

Storing green coffee is pretty much like storing flour or sugar. Cool, dry place, away from where moths can get in, nothing special. We've got ours in a kitchen cabinet, and it stores for months. Maybe longer; I've never had any go bad.

finally have to time/motivation to replace the deck screws on my back deck. Man, I knew pressure treated wood was super corrosive, but had no idea it messed with vinyl-coated decking screws so badly.
The surface of the deck is ipe, and that's not a problem, but once I get to the PT supports underneath, some of those screws are missing 50% of their threads or more. To say nothing of the ones that are snapping when I try to remove 'em. Oh well.

Should have done this a few years back (they're about 15 years old), but no time like the present.
