I got off early and made it over to Shadow Cliffs by my house before the weather turned nasty.  I was glad I brought my gortex waders as the wind came up at times and made for a wet ride.  I had one hit  and one trout that I was stalking get snagged by a Great blue Heron that swooped down and grabbed it between casts.  That was awesome to watch.

The Tarpon 120 is not a yak that I would attempt to stand up in, too wobbly, but it really paddles well and cuts through the chop with ease.
I am happy to report that I found it quite easy and stable to make my normal casts in windy and calm conditions.  Ah now to wait another few days to head out to my normal fishing grounds.  I am hooked :smt003

Sweet did not know you could take a personal kayak to that place. They have a launch?
