This will be my first post so here goes.  I live in santa barbara county and have a great fishing hole here.  The spot is not pressured like all the others out there due to it being on a military instilation. I have been yaking for last three weeks and hitting great lmits on rock cod every trip.  A week ago I took 7 yakers out and one came back with a nice over 35inch halibut.  Everybody else came back in with limits on cod, limits on cabezon and limits on lings as well.  We had some good quality fish caught with everyday we go yeilding more big fish and good numbers as well.  Just an all around good time on the central coast.

Gotta be Vandenberg AFB.  That last pic is tittled "The Launching Pad."  They launch satellites from there.

Good ole beautiful SB county. My family live just down the coast in "the good land" of Goleta. I'd be into yak fishing near Vandenburg.

Nice pics, that is a beaut of a hali!

Thanks for the positive reviews, I will make sure to post in the public reports next time.  It is Vandenberg.  I figured the launch pad would give it away.   There is def a lot of fishing to be done here.  Every trip is a new experince that brings more and bigger fish.  I will def be posting more and possibly be going this weekend.
