Fished the North/West side of lake from 9 to 1 and got one trout and released him.  I've been out 4x in last two weeks and have hooked into at least 1 trout , but only landed the one. Spin casting various green spinners seemed to attract em.  Tried bait fishing power bait with no luck.

Welcome aboard neighbor and thanks for the fishing report.  They have BIG Carps in that lake too and they're good fighters  :smt003

That is the lake behind the theme park there whatever it is called. I'm brain dead today.

Yes. I believe the theme park is 6 Flags? Marine World? Definitely Vallejo.

The entrance is at Dan Foley Park, Hwy 80 to Redwood West, right on Tuolumne St, right on North Camino Alto one block to the park. I believe there is a $4.00 per car fee after 9AM, don't know if there is a ramp fee.
They are doing regular Trout drops from Fish and Game along with Vallejo Rotary and Vallejo Recreation District.

This video is from Fishing in the City every March.

Thanks for all the feedback fellow anglers !  FYI Parking fee is $4 on the weekends and no launch fee. You're supposed to pick up a permit at GVRD office to launch there. Sorry no pics, no camera on board since I tend to have dropsies and have ruined a few electronics fumbling with my yak. Next time. Headed out to Napa River to play with the schoolies today! Good luck all.
