Hello All, my name is Jeff.  :smt006
I found your site while doing my research on kayaks when I was looking to buy one. I have since purchased a 2009 O.K. Prowler 15 Angler from a retired Marine who only used it 4 times then covered it up and stuck it in a shed. After talking with our vet for some time he just did not like using it as much as his u-shape float tube. My gain as this OK looked like it just came off the self. No major extras other than an upgraded seat and paddle. I’m looking for a PFD now. I'm planning to fish central coast and central valley lakes and rivers. I have only been on a kayak once in a lake. I have a good friend over on the coast that's willing to show me the ropes on the ocean fishing so very excited about that this spring. Nervous about learning the wrong things or bad habits if there is any to be had on a yak, that and the Land lord as most of you refer to the GW as lol!!!!!! Very curious about to many things, too Many to list as each day I come on here I find something new I’d like to try or add to my Kayak. Sadly the wife is keeping me on a tight leash on this hobby unlike my archery and duck hunting habit lol

Anyways I just wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to be able to contribute to this board, hopefully at some point.
I’m always open to new fishing buddies!!! I spend most of my time from Pismo north to pt Sur.  I hope to get the chance to bump into some of you out on the waters!!

Tight Lines All

Jeff

This is a great site to learn from. If you get a chance some kayaking classes are always a plus.

Welcome aboard Jeff.  You're coming to the right place for kayak fishing info.

Welcome! Next to that bottle of Boon's Farm I bought before my Jr. Prom in high school, my kayak is probably the best thing I ever bought.  Like Ricci said, there is so much you can do with it. Diving, fishing, hunting, paddling. You wont regret it man! Take care!
