Title: Dropshotting for Perch and DRONE CRASH

Got out and fished with Ben for a little bit as well.

So DJI does have an insurance you can buy that covers everything from water damage on down.

One catch you have to be able to retrieve the drone and send it to them for replacement. I was not even able to find the thing. Stupid bluffs.

From the still picture after the crash, looks like it's in the bush to your left. Did you comb that area?

Yeah, so it was in an area that was not accessible, maybe if I had some rock climbing gear.

It is pretty much of the first ridge in this picture. Spent about an hour walking through poison oak and brush to try and get to the thing with no luck.

Maybe another drone pilot will help you out and try a rescue mission :) If I was close by I would bust out my mavic pro with the dji goggle and try and locate it for you. Maybe even attach a hook or something and try to grab it.

Great video at any rate :)

I'm tempted to get the Mavic Air since it has backward sensor which would have helped in your case.
