What in the world do you plan to do with it?

It's not hard to add more. I have 4 flush mounts around the rear hatch, one on the main hatch lid. Others have added deck mounts at the front of the fish hatch. Easy to do and nice to be able to set it up to work for you.

You should be trolling at least 2 rods if fishing for yellowtail, tuna, ca butts, or any of the other fish that kayak is built to fish for.

don't plan on yellowtail up here. I'll be using it for rockfish,salmon and others as I travel. I just like the kayak since its easy to get to and off the water. Now that I'm retired I may be doing more trips south. I will be putting larger flush mounts in back but also rail blaza holders in front of me for trolling. Got a lot of plans for rigging when it gets here and will have my evo as a loaner for others to try out.
