Well, the wife's been off in New York for a week now so I've been home with the kiddo each evening. And today the one day I have a sitter, it's raining...

So what do I do when I'm bored? I surf, NCKA mostly, but as I mentioned last week I am eagerly (and maybe anxiously) awaiting the arrival of my new Stealth ProFisha 475. Anxiously because when I last spoke to Brett (the owner of Stealth) we were discussing "colours" for my boat and he rather cryptically ended with the line "Sweet design for you... something slightly different but will be  nice." Which of course means I've been surfing the web looking for other boats he's done.

Wow, what fun, I had no idea how far you could take custom paint on a 'yak. I'll post up a couple of links and photos that I found in case you want to see how I've been torturing myself.

Nice looking kayaks. Where do you stow your rods for a surf launch? Through the front hatch?

Yup, there's a little carrier system inside and forward of the hatch. It holds the rods and reels suspended up above the presumed fish lying in the fish hold  :fishing1
