There are some snares and then better snares what recommendations and where can I get them,  I’m an old dude and don’t have Instagram (gladiator snares which look great) then there’s Amazon but would rather support small biz

My buddy with a PB Out of bodega always recommends.  Sounds like my kind of Salmon hunt.  They’re usually close in.  It is a half mile slog from the road however.  Just wanted to ask if any folks here ever fished it

First off as many on the board know I lost my best friend and fellow revo rider moodymike last year.

I just turned 65 a few weeks back my revo is ready to go.

There is a certain kayak angler who is a you tube channel guy who I follow and respect.  Since the SIP he’s been doing solo missions on big blue.  Makes me itchy to get out there.  There are a lot of new people on this board and just a reminder buddy up.  Big blue is no joke
moo moo was getting seriously hassled by seals and the SC surfer tragedy spells to me no solo missions.

So despite what you hear and see always always have all your gear correct and use the buddy system.

So I made my first 8 last night picked about 3/4 of lb.  Used egg mayo Worcestershire mustard Italian parsley s & p  panko and fresh day 2 crab...anyone have a west coast recipe that let's the sweet speak?

Don't know all the details but my best friend and kayak fishing mentor Moodymike passed Friday.  He left behind his 3 year old daughter Emi.  He was a great angler, father and musician.  We shared alot of time together. We would go bass fishing on San Pablo, work the reefs of HMB, write music together.  So hard to lose him. 

I always value my time with friends and family, lost Dad and Mom already, this one is super hard, but like a good soldier I keep walking forward, pick em up put em down chop wood carry water.
