On the water by 7 with Lucky13-

First drop inside the jaws and hooked a sealion-

Worked the area from red can back, and out left all along the coast, but no salmon love-

Tons of bait everywhere and thick-

Conditions were great, light breeze, small chop, till about 1ish-

Caught a Thresher - will be first time trying it- fish tacos? Any favorite recipes?

Nice meeting you Badger and Bloody Knuckles-

Nice Meeting you too Jeff  :smt001  Looks like you did way better than us. Nice thresher!  We gave up on the salmon and caught a small ling and a few rockfish.  We did have an awesome encounter with a couple whales though.  We were jealous of your AI.  You covered a ridiculous amount of water out there.

You look like you're hooked up to a whale in that last pic!

I was there on my PB with my 22yo daughter and her BF.

Great to see the NCKA armada out there.

We hooked up to 3 salmon but lost it by the boat. First time salmon fishing for my daughter and her BF.

We'll get them next time, Alameda.

It was nice fishing with so many NCKA friends. I trolled a fbr behind a Water Wolf camera, and confirmed I had at least one bite that didn't stick. Congrats to Naoki who lost one and then landed one at the red can later in the day. Persistence paid off for him. I guess there are still salmon out there, just not very many.
