October 17, 2007......12:47 PM......REI Parking lot, San Carlos Branch.......

I was at my lunch hour....hanging out at Aquan Sports when I see a station wagon with a bluish green Tarpon 160 on top of it.....heading into the REI parking lot......can it be.....YES!!! It's gotta be the legendary "Blue Kayak" 

I made a mad dash     to my truck, grabbed my camera and did an Oympic sprint right across the street....nearly getting hit by car by the way .....and right into REI....I scan the entire store with my reptilian eyes....as I stood there, I see a human figure coming at me at the corner of my eye....could it be....yes it was  The legend himself  Paul AKA Blue Kayak had spotted me first and we made the introductions with a firm hand shake (man-shake). We chatted a for a few minutes... I was bummed cause I had to go back to work .....anyhow, before I left, I had to make the long awaited camera shot of the man that "dances with salmon"
