For Sale / Hobie Revo Outback

Has everything but tackle box. Used. $1400 no other offers accepted. Just to get things clear I thank everyone for the money put in for me when I was sick. It didn't go to anything else. It went towards my medical bills, and I am still going through a lot right now. The cause of my seizures are still unknown and I am still under medication. I hope one day I can get back on the water but I dont see that happening anytime soon. I understand people are just trying to help but I think $1400 is pretty good. Cash offers only. Thank you!

Won't be able to drive any longer.  :smt009

I was told that I am not allowed outside my house after dark or I will be put in a group home FOREVER, this was told to me by my counselor from the Dept of Rehab. I am at risk to also lose my HOME and my DOGS. My plan is to make my home a better place, pour concrete in my backyard and make it a place to invite people and have a nice setting where I can feel at peace. In order for this to happen I need the funds, so I am just going to start selling things online. First is my Kayak it is a 2012 Hobie Revo. Asking $1800 :D I kept her in great condition I remember always rinsing her off after I got out of the salt just so the gears and metal wouldn't corrode. She's a fast one I tell ya, I'm gonna miss her  but I'm sure there's a home for her out there!  :smt003

Whoever buys it will get extras too. Thanks.

Also, if there is any work at home jobs anyone knows I can do from my computer I greatly appreciate it. I have good clerical skills, I just wish I didn't go with the Acer Chromebook and instead a Laptop with Microsoft lol..everyone has their own opion but I wasn't thinking straight at the time. Oh well.

I know longer have use for it and it is taking up space in my garage, plus I cannot drive. For everyone that knew of my situation. I still have memory issues and hope to one day be on the water, but as far as in a kayak on the Ocean my neurologist doesn't agree. I'm better of just selling it now rather then it collecting dust. I see pictures of me and it and I will miss my kayak dearly, and I believe I have everything that goes with it. I had one offer on facebook for 1800 but that person said they would pay in visa. I'm starting my offer 1800 OBO CASH ONLY. Thanks everyone again for your support throughout my journey on and off the water. If I remember correctly CCK did a lot in supporting me as well as many of other people apart of the NCKA family and my friends and family. Take care. :smt001 :smt001

Thanks again! :smt006 . I am still recovering and go through different therapy, but I will not be allowed on the water for a while. Thank you Dr. Habanero for posting to help me out, I figure I would ad some pics and post in the right area myself.  :smt044 It has truly and still is is a long road ahead, but that is how life is. We never know where it will take us. I haven't even used my fishing license much since I got it. That is ok though, family first...the fish will always be there..

So I am selling is this 2012 Hobie Revo Outback and it comes it comes with the paddle, the seat, the fins, pretty much everything expect for the tackle box. I can't seem to find the tackle box expect for the top of it.  :smt009...there are pool noodles inside.

Anyway, this has just been posted, but he highest bidder gets the kayak. I will be using the funds from the kayak and saving it until my Dr. okays me to get back on the water and maybe I will be back on the water again with you guys someday.

One this is for sure. I will never stop my love for fishin. Fish On!

Hi everyone!
  :smt006 :smt006

This is my first post in a long time and I just want to say once again as many of you who know me, once again thank you for your support on my journey throughout my recovery process. I am still on the recovery journey and cannot be on a kayak but I am allowed on a boat on a river or lake with a life jacket. I will never get rid of my Hobie Outback!  I have been on here for a few years and I am determined to stay with the NCKA Family because of how much support and love they bring on and off the water.  For my birthday, All I wished for was a fishing license! LOL

I love you all. And get out there and live life to the fullest

Yours Truly,

StephKillsit

P.S. If you have any pics of me in it, I would greatly appreciate seeing them. Thanks again!

This is my first post in a longgg time and I want to thank PolePole for helping to get me back on here and all of NCKA for their support for my recovery!!

I am a not allowed on my Kayak due to situation but I wil never give up my Hobie Outback! Even if it is outdated lol. I have a bit of a different personality some say as I am not shy as I was before. I am shy though about posting this because many of you have already done soo much for me!!

It’s a long road still ahead but my brother is scheduling a trip for my family and I to DISNEYLAND! I live in Antioch and am looking for a dog sitter where I can leave my dogs. To the folks that know my situation. I am still having memory problems but I have gone a long way. My dogs have all their shots up to date. One is a German Shepherd and the other a Jack Russel/Chihuahah Mix.

Thanks again all to my NCKA Family!

General Fishing Tips / Sand Dab Rig setup? Suggestions anybody?
« on: March 03, 2017, 08:34:21 AM »
Good morning everybody!

Tommorow I am going on a party boat to head out for a crab and dab trip. I've heard of people using Sabikis but I want to see what else has worked for others? Right now I have size 6 mosquito hooks, 2in fake worm, and 15lb leader. Is there a limit to how many hooks you can use? What length of leader? Size leader? Size weight? The trip will be out of Monterey, and weather is looking great but breezy 15-25mph winds. 3-5 ft swells, 12 seconds apart.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I can't wait to fry up some dabs and eat them whole, all tasty, nice and crispy!  :smt007 :smt003

General Talk / Are there crawdads at Berryessa?
« on: February 28, 2017, 08:08:25 AM »
Just wondering since I will be bringing my trap for the Berry Slam and would be cool to catch bunch of crawdads for a feast. I didn't do to well at the Forebay. :smt003

I also learned that Bacon makes good crawdad bait! I used a can of olive oil sardines, and bacon! Made an oil slick though on the water. Thanks Bob for setting it and picking it up for me :smt044

Recipes / Smoked Pheasant Recipes?
« on: February 27, 2017, 06:02:11 PM »
A few years ago I had the opportunity to try Smoked Pheasant it was just a taste but it was so good I was immediately hooked on Pheasant meat. My gf gave me two Pheasants because she doesn't know how to prepare it. And that is a plus for me because I have an electric smoker! So my question is does anyone have any smoked Pheasant recipes they'd be willing to share?

General Talk / Who here has been affected by the floods?
« on: February 22, 2017, 05:21:44 AM »
With more rain on the way and flooding throughout the region I am wondering who here has been affected or in danger of being affected? I saw on the news all the evacuations, levees breaking, reservoirs overflowing, creeks overflowing. I would like to help anyone in my area if they need it. Don't think there's a thread on this yet? If so I apologize for the duplication.
