4 Epic Salmon days at HMB (GoPro Pole almost got pulled into water)

  Some of my NCKA friends have notice I've been laying low on the fishing and reports, from the hustle and bustle of School, work and family it's been tuff trying to get out there when my kayak and PB friends are texting me while I'm in class trying to focus on school and not fishing.  I just wanted to share the 4 days that I was out there with some awsome people that I met and also people who I haven't seen in a while.

 Day 1 8/11/17

 Summer starts and school is officially over, got an hot bite report from the man himself Jason Str8fishin that fish are close to the harbor. I get there at 6am and there was a mass of other kayakers setting up, soon enough "Ding" Phone goes off, the Bland Brothers sent me a text with a pic of a salmon on their AI, WTF..... I bypassed everyone and literally was running on water, everyone must have thought I was on meth or something  . I got out the mouth of the harbor by 6:20am and dropped in, BAM!! Pole didn't even leave my hands and fish on, landed a nice 12lber and put back in at 6:35am and BAM! Fish 2 was in the boat another 12 lber. Limited by 6:40 am just hung out with some friends and was head cheerleader for a few hours waiting for traffic to clear up. (count 2 for 2)

 Day 2 8/12/17

 Arrived at the Harbor day 2 with new found buddy FishBoy at 5am we hit the mouth of the harbor at 5:45 and immediately started hooking up again, Fishboy(Ene) limits  in 30 minutes damn bruh!! Home boy had some nice grade fish onboard and I got a nice 10lber in the books. Morning bite was over so I ventured with (HG) into the Harbor and Bam fish #2 fought inside the harbor and landed an fat 8lber to end the day by 9am. Ene knew my Mother in law loved anchovies so he asked the Chovie netter if he can get a school and he was more than happy to give us a gallon bag to end the day. (Count 2 for 2)

Day 3 8/14/17

 Once again arrive at 5 am with Fishboy, badger and myself, unload the yaks headed out and it was just plain ridiculous, bite on bite on bite, at one point all 3 of us had fish onboard and were hooking fish with passing traffic cheering us on. Everyone went home with fish and its was just one of those fun days where everything I that I threw to them would work. The bite was so hot that I took off my baited line and threw spoons just so I can hook and release smaller ones to see if I can hook a bigger fish. (Count 2 of2 )

Day 4 8/15/17

 Arrive with guess who? ENE... Got out the mouth of the Harbor with a mass of kayak fisherman, Word got out it was pretty decent bite lately. I was the first kayak out and immediately hooked a nice fish but it came unbutton because I didn't get a chance to set my drag right, Damn It!!! HELLA ROOKIE... reset and BAM! another hit that cam off. WOw... it's going to be one of those days. I pull my line to the surface and started talking to Ene about the bites and a salmon grabs it on the surface while I was setting it on the DR and comes off WTH... I then decided I needed to rerigg my baited line and soon enough got another taker up high at 11' which was a fun and crazy fight, looking over the Gopro footage I should have left the fish out further and not bring it in so hot as I was having a tuff time netting this crazy fish. Ended the day with (Count 1 of 4)  and 7 fish for the 4 days of fishing.

 Ohh Can't forget Josiah(Sandlance) for texting me everyday while I'm in class telling me how great you are at Salmon fishing waking up this sleeping giant.. I believe the man is at 23 Kayak salmon this season... Crazy..

Lmao... I remember at around 7am saying "J you got your limit"? You said yup gotta go to work as we were both chuckling because the bite was so hot.
