It was good to be back on the water, and in a yak :smt003; but still haven't hooked a hali on a handline :smt013.

Morning started off with a slight breeze, then backed off for an hour-ish and the bay was like a lake; but then it picked back up and steadily increasing to forecast numbers. Got off the water and fired up the grills...

Tides were a little off for the event, previous weekend would have been better; shooting for May 4th, 2019 for next years event, better tides.

Thanks all who came out to fish and/or chill. Thanks Hojo for glassing the event; but keep that one picture on the D.L..  :smt005

Congrads to Chucke; who i was corking for most of the day, with no luck :smt010.

See you guys at the next Handline FnC.

First of all, THANKS again to Glen for putting on the event.  A lot of us take our fancy rod and reels for granted while much of the world's fishermen still successfully fish with ol'school handlines.  For me,  that's what makes any catch on a handline more challenging and special.

You guys were all awesome to come out and play on day when the big sheep came out early and dominated the playing field!

Chillin' with old and new friends is always the best part of any FnC!
