I know you got them either using a hoop net, crab snare or crab trap as any other way is illegal.

We actually got to see Placerville on the way home when polyg Alan took the 50 by mistake. He asked me if I remembered a stop light on 80. Yeah, there - I said it.  

FYI, I believe those crabs were C&Red right after the photo was taken. Accidental bycatch.
