Fort Ross Status?

I haven't been out in what seems like forever and am thinking about hitting Fort Ross and wondering if we can launch from there. I remember hearing something about it being unable to go down to the launch. Any info would be great.

I called the Fort Ross Park(707-847-3286) and they said the access to Sandy Cove  is open now. It was closed for trail maintenance, and the over flow parking lot is still closed. If you are launching a regular boat you should call them.

Yes, if you drive to the bottom and unload there.  kinda a long walk both ways after parking up the hill though.

Looking at trying tohit it Sunday. Gonna keep a watch on the wind. Saturday looks pretty blown out but Sunday looks good.

I'm on lock-down this weekend, but I'm down for next weekend! Or possibly even this coming Monday.

I might join in if the wind is tolerable Sun.....

Will keep an eye on Sunday, wish I could go Monday but got to pick up the boys. Next weekend is also an option too. I will still try to go Sunday if conditions look good.
