I am gutting our new house and the wife is getting on my case for letting the previous owner leave these old stoves on the property.  They are on a covered porch but definitely have a layer of dust and some rust on them.

Just curious if it's worth trying to get a few bucks for them or not.

I was going to make them garden art and put flower pots in the holes.  I was overruled on this one.

You should be able to get something for them . Try an antique shop. Are they porcelain coated? Beauties.

Yeah but the trailer was moved after we hired a lawyer so we are making progress.

Oh yeah, tell your wife good call on the RV.

No clue.  Think they are painted metal.

Yeah that would be interesting to see.  One looks like metal inside and the other has that black and white speck coating.  Not big enough to smoke much in but if you put the wood in stove side you could pipe to separate container for the smoking part.

Hey was this on that Hillbilly Blood show.  They would do that I am sure.

Maybe I should check this Pinterest thing my wife gets all my honey do's from.

those stoves are electric so they probably aren't as old or valuable as the wood or gas ones….but i don't know much about stoves…other than how to turn them on and cook with them.

Agree that the electric nature of 'em is going to knock down the value of these, but I'd put 'em up on CraigsList for $100-200 or so and try to get someone else to pay you to remove them from your property. If they were gas, they'd probably CL for around $200-600 unrestored. If they don't move in a week, put 'em in the free section.

You should hit up American pickers
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

That's funny they had an episode out here and it was funny.  The one nuts house had a cow-asaki motorcycle that looked like a giant cow.

Thanks for all the input.

If anyone wants a project or thinks they can use them you can have them if you come by Ft Bragg.

Any time I have tried to give stuff away people seem to not want it so these bad boys are $500 each but with NCKA discount I will only charge a beer.

Come on Tote bring me some IPA and you can put them in your new RV.

I'll be headed your way next week and I'll bring you an IPA to celebrate your new digs.
