Long Version:

After a sleepless night before and an early start the day of the MBK derby, I dragged myself over to Register inside MBK.  4th in line, the gave the gentleman a $100 bill, he gave me 2 forms to sign and told me to come back when I was done completing them; then he spoke to the next guy behind me.

I scribbled my information on the forms, turned them back in, he gave me a pink wrist-band and  went back to finish rigging up my kayak.

After fishing all morning, then again in the afternoon for "SQUATT", i decide to go home versus staying another night at Veteran's with the boys; was to tired from all the paddling and jacked up my left hand on the paddle back to shore.

On the drive home, I stop by Gilroy to buy gas and notice I had no cash left in my wallet. I quickly went thru all my pockets and bags, but could find anything. After thinking back, I remembered I never got my change back in the morning. I started kicking myself and thinking, "Now it turned out to be a $100 hot dog lunch, Damn!"

When I got home, I emptied the truck and clean all the gear and clothing; and re-checked everything again for the money, ZIP!

Short Version

I pm'd Allen Bushnell and explained what happened; I initially to me to call them, but I thought it was a waste of time, who would believe a hoodlum like me anyways.  Allen made a call over to MBK and spoke with Cass (owner) about my incident; and told me to give her a call.

I spoke with Cass a few minutes ago and she said she would make things right; as is sending me the change in the mail today.

Thanks you Allen and Cass; it's nice to know that there are still people of good character around.

Let's do Saturday instead. I think the pink wrist band was
the distraction of you forgetting your change. LOL

I'm down for Saturday, I have a baptism to attend on Sunday; but the weather looks iffy.... worse on Sunday...

How about doing something inland; maybe Del Valle???

We are playing at Seascape GC in Aptos Jed.  I did not know Glen can play.  Now I wonder what he's done to pimp his golf bag and clubs...  :smt003  But seriously I think we should play a round at Monterey Pines next time we go down to Monterey to fish.

As long as the round does not go over $100 I'm OK. Got to tighten the belt a little for the rainy days. :smt003
