Congratulations to Adam Fish Hunter for not only winning the Tourney but coaching Cabana Boy to Second place as well.
He has entitled himself to the Pre Bendo@Mendo Gourmet Meal and a couple of tickets to the Winners only Raffle. Way to go Adam

SWEEEEET!! Did it for the "CAUSE" and "COMRADORE".
Glad to be in a WINNERS CIRCLE of such stature, with future and present masters of Yak-Angling.
Could not have even qualified,if I hadn't been shown the ropes of YakFishin from all the GOOD PEEPS at NCKA!!
.....as for my nephew,I asked him to take the PIC of measurement,he took two.I then said get a close shot of the head for fractions if it comes down to it.After three shots I let him go.........then i see that ALL 3 pics were of his head!! :smt011
Glad it did not come to this, cuz I would have had to go "MIDEVEL" on his A$$!! for sabotaging! :smt003
Am I now the SHOT CALLER for the next MFF?
What happens if someone wins another MFF?? not that I'm claiming a future MFF,but it could happen. :smt005
Thanks for the PROPS and SHOUT-OUTS my fellow brethren. :smt008
CHECK OUT THE PICS & PORT from the TWO DAYS of HUNTING in "FISHING REPORTS" should they get moved into the Tourney forums? I think I am getting HATED ON a bit here.... :smt003

CONGRATS ADAM!

thanks for organizing it Mike.
-
and thanks for spider love
-
This victory goes to show that practice and persistance pay off. FisHunter has paid his dues bigtime. WTG!
-
Oh Yeah,Thanks Mike!! for the 'Change of Format" on this MFF...I thought it would have attracked more interests, with the OPEN to fish anywhere and POINTS system.Everyone must have had BIGGER & BETTER plans.
I almost commited to hunting some HIGH POINT panfish...glad I didn't :smt002
-
Congratulations Adam. Don't forget to log that fish in for AOTY2007!
As for "BIGGER & BETTER plans", I'm guessing staying home with my wife while she has the stomach flu really doesn't count. I'm hoping I can get out next time.
BTW, Mickfish, the new "Angler of the weekend" format was a great idea and I hope some of the future MFF tourneys will use the same scoring model.

Thanks Brian,And I did not mean that in a negative way. :smt008
Having to deal with REAL stuff is always a priority over "fishin", in whatever capacity it may be in.
I hope I did not PISS everyone OFF? I think I better stricken that from the records before I start getting "HATE-MAIL". :smt009
Once again,"Props to the PEEPS" and family of NCKA!
.......and I hope your wife is better....when mine is sick I'm the same way.
-
Great job Adam!!!!!!

What happens if someone wins another MFF??
Don't you mean When ? :smt001
Am I now the SHOT CALLER for the next MFF?
Adam What do you have in Mind?
I was thinking of Presidents Day same format for 3 days, except you have to catch 2 differant species and add the points up to decide the winner. In Honor of your win I could add sharks. I am trying to make the rules like the Fishing Regulations so nobody knows what the hell is going on until the end. :smt005
Seriously am I open to all suggestions so feel free to chime in, I will have fun no matter what format I just want more people to participate.

Adam,
WTG Bro...can't believe it was just last year when us "newbs" bumped into each other at the Lafayette Reservoir. Now you're a tournament winning yakker! In your case we can't say its beginners luck, not with the hours you put on the water. I'll catch with you guys when I finish up some more home projects and build up those WAF points.
Keep your reports coming and make sure Mooch doesn't stuff a banana on your yak.

Sounds good Mike! I like the TWO FISH wrinkle in THREE DAYS.
I think we should get "MOOCH-poll" on it.
Bottom-line is we NEED MORE PARTICIPANTS to join in so I don't win another. :smt002
....I think if you had a "buddy-system" and "guts" they can be hauled in and pictured against something to be measured at a later time and then agreed on by the "active champ and commitee" .....or the Dino-Rule?
........SHARKS could be the BIGGER POINT maker,MINUS POINTS for a HARVESTED/LOADED FEMALE :smt011.. and THEY'RE TOUGH AS NAILS TOO!
THIS IS NUTS!! :smt003
-
It might even be interesting to have a poll to decide the winning fish
-
Remember that day Gary!! like it was yesterday, huh! I've been doing good at lafayette these days with my "entrusted SENKO" and have yet to troll a dam trout ouf of that pond after many of miles invested!!
Thanks for the kind words Sandman and i'll see out in the SALT H2o this year!....for sure! :smt004
-
I don't know if you want to follow me into the surf at Bean Hollow but I'll do my best to get you out there and back safely. As you can see from last years pics, the Bean has been very, very good to us. Thanks to JTF, Mooch, ChuckE, Freddie, JMairey, CafeCraig, ScottThornley, Guitarzan and the rest of the crew we pretty much have that place figured out. In the mean time keep catching those bass, anyone can throw a plug of power bait, sit on their a$$ and wait for the trout. You're the fish "hunter" and it takes skill to stalk, lure and catch those bad boys.

Way to go, Adam! Congrats on your win.
I wanted to join in on the MFF action this time around, but a lack of dollars kept me out. Hopefully, things will be looking better for next time.
-
It might even be interesting to have a poll to decide the winning fish
Terry I like it post a picture of your fish on a Poll and which ever gets the most votes wins.
Sorta like Jim Sammons Tourney
