It's not very often you meet someone so influential like this. I feel fortunate to have met such an inspirational person who has touched so many lives, and will continue to do so from the great beyond.

Although hard to process, I am also thankful that Joel was able to get hospice care to alleviate his pain, which allowed those who loved him the chance to say goodbye. I'm glad he was able to see with his eyes the greatness of his own legacy and what would stay in motion afterwards. I hope this brought him peace.

Shocked, saddened, and in awe of my friend's legacy.

I'd like to say he has just 'resumed pure spiritual form."  Joel was always a little closer to that than the rest of us.  A truly truly special guy.
