Hi - I was considering hitting southern Franks Tract this weekend for some topwater action on my yak, but I see that the Snag Proof Frog Tourney is happening Saturday and Sunday, out of Russos. Power boats, especially a lot of them in a hurry to catch as many fish as possible, don't mix too well with fly fisherman on yaks. Should I cancel my weekend plans and look for another place to fish?
Thanks.

Is this your first notice this is post here? LOL I guess I needed more coffee first! Maybe you didn't notice this is  a page related to kayak fishing events not general questions. Common sense should answer this question yourself anyway.

Your first sentence was a bit garbled, but I catch your drift, and thanks for the very friendly response. Much appreciated! My first post was back in 2011, but it's been awhile.
I'll try to be more careful with where I post questions.

I’d fish somewhere else. Everything within 20miles of FranksTract will be bombarded by the bass boats.
