I just got home from Headwaters Kayak in Lodi where I got my new Cuda 14!!!I have been looking at this boat since I got rid of the Hobies. I was able to demo it last weekend and I was hooked!! Awesome boat, super stable, built for fishing, and they are bad ass looking! :smt007.
I cant say THANK YOU enough to Dan! He was great! His shop is awesome and he has a great selection of boats! Dan was willing to open any boat in the warehouse so that I could choose the color I wanted. Dan answered all of the questions I had and helped me choose what would work best for me. He doesnt try to sell you anything you dont need, he is a GREAT guy to buy from, I am glad I made the trip to Lodii. Dan gave me a GREAT deal on the boat and add ons I wanted and even installed everything for free!! If you or anyone you know is looking for a Jackson send them down to Headwaters you wont be disapointed! So once again THANKS DAN!!!!!

Here are a few pics, sorry kind of crappy quick pics, I will get some more when I get that thing out! Hopefully soon I work SAT SUN :smt009 :smt010. I plan to have some blood on it next week.

That does look like a sweet boat. I really like my 16 foot trident but want to switch to a hobie. What made you get rid of the hobies?

Dan and his crew are awesome - I have always had the same experience as you did. VERY nice looking boat - I love the color!

Can't wait to see you on the water with it!

Andy I got rid of the Hobies because I needed the money :smt044. I started looking at other kayaks that were a little better for fishing and diving. Hobies are no good in the kelp so kind of crappy for diving. I will probably get a Revo for my second boat, but I love the Cuda!

Right on pinseeker.
You're gonna love it.
Not only are you going to enjoy paddling it but your butt is going to thank you.  You're not going to get wet sitting in the seat and feeling you get after sitting all long day on the water is unreal. It's a big + in my book.  Great color too :smt004
I'm stoked you came down to paddlefest and glad to have met you.
What paddle did you end up with?
Hope to see you on the water soon.

I can't say enough about Dan and his shop(Headwaters kayak).  He definitely loves the sport, knows his sh.t and enjoys getting us on the water.

Thanks Bro it was nice meeting you as well. Thanks for answering all of my questions! I ended up getting the Bending branch angler 240. Dan gave me a great deal on the paddle.
