Been having a chance to get OTW lately, having a blast with little panfish and LMB at the Port of Sac. and enjoying the cooler Fall weather.

Throwing the fly rod exclusively and catching a bunch of small fish during my typical midday midweek 3 hour sessions.

Only one fish of moderate size has been measured so far - a LMB that hit a white popper at sundown. It was a nice fight on the flexy 4 weight meant for tiny trout.

I'm posting it here as I can't get AOTY to register it.

BTW- lots of salmon are rolling now at the Port - in the past trolling has worked for these dark fish. I've seen a bunch of yakkers jigging the locks, but so far have not seen much success.

Good luck and stay safe OTW,
novofish

Cannot see tail clearly crossing 16" mark, downgrade to 15.75".
