I just ordered from Hook1 the other day for the first time... The order arrived in NO time at all.. i think it was just 2 days later and in great shape! I didn't have a 10% code but sent a message to Karen who immediately responded and refunded the 10%. Fantastic business and customer service, can't recommend it any higher.

About 1 year ago, I ordered 2 Scotty flush mounts from Hook 1. The mounts were supposed to be sealed, but they were not. I procrastinated and never contacted Hook 1 for an exchange. Well, I just got a new kayak and wanted to put some mounts on it. I contacted Karen at Hook 1 and explained the situation. She said no problem. I was able to exchange the mounts I ordered 1 year ago to exchange it for the ones I needed.
I also ordered some other flush mounts that I thought would work, but they didn't. I contacted Karen again and she said no problem again. She exchanged my items again.
Hook 1 is great!

Ordered on Sunday night & the items were shipped out on Monday morning already. Got here (Sacramento) by Wednesday with standard shipping.

I spoke with guys at hook 1 today and they told me we could use the code NCKA all in caps and that would give us 15% off. This code will be good all the time.

Just wanna give a shout out for the folks at Hook1. Placed two recent orders. Both were shipped the next day. Prices were already lowered than most other places, plus I got the 15% off. What's even better now is that they've moved out of CA, so no tax :smt003
Will definitely check Hook1 first before looking elsewhere online.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Hookone. I had to go to the post office to pay $3.45 in additional postage to get my stuff. Inconvienent, but i got off early and it's only a few bucks. But they got my order wrong. They sent me the wrong stuff. I emailed them twice to ask about exchanging the stuff. They have not emailed me back.

I made several attempts at using the code and it did not work, I figure is only 25 bucks so I just forget about it since my e mails to hook 1 were not even responded. I will try again and see if it works, but I still think it is mess up that costumer service did not reply even when I paste the e mails showing that they were giving us the certificates.
I have bough stuff from them and my e mail is in their history to log into my account should have been a lot easier.

My discount did not show on my order I tried several times and the website froze for a few minutes then it told me that my order went through without my discount and it was charged to my paypall account

They will send you an e mail with the tracking number as soon as they send it, I placed an order last week and then they send me an e mail telling me that my stuff was back order, that sucks, i could have waited another 3 months for my 25 gift certificate from Albion, the one that they never sent me.

it says the order was shipped but no tracking number. Guess im gonna have to be surprised when it shows up.

I emailed Chad Hoover and he RESPONDED BIG!
He offered to pay the extra postage that was charged. I declined and told him that I just wanted to get the correct item and not have to pay for the shipping for the correct item or return shipping for the wrong item that was sent to me.
He sent me the correct item and told me to keep the wrong item, 2 Yak Attack Geartrac gts 175, 16 inch. That costs $80. He said to put it on my other kayak.

WOW!!!!!!! I ordered a package from hook1 and was trying to figure out how to track it and emailed chad. The package ended up being delivered to my house on friday. Yes just in time for the weekend. I went out today and when i came back home I had another package. Chad sent me two orders and told me to keep it. Wow what a great way to show customer appreciation. This was my first time ordering from hook1 and wont be my last. Thanks chad.

Looks like everything is good again with Hook1 , the problem I had with my certificate was a misspelling of my name.
If anybody has a problem do like they say, call them and they will take care of the problem with no hassle or attitude at all, glad to be doing business with them again.

He has his hand in so many things from Hook1, to Kayakbassfishing.com, the Knot Right TV Show, the Kayak Bass Fishing show, Heroes on the Water, KBF Open tournaments, Etc. Just give him a chance to make things right and he'll go above and beyond to prove that he wants you as a customer! I've never been disappointed with Chad Hoover or the Hook1 team!

Yeah I saw that!! Not sure how that's going to work out but I wish him the best!! I fished with him in South Carolina at the first Kayak Bass Fishing Open and then again at the Kayak Bass Fishing Invitational. He's a riot, but I'm not kidding when I say he doesn't sleep and is always busy with a whole bunch of projects going at the same time. It doesn't seem to matter when I text, email, or call he always gets right back to me within minutes usually! I've apologized before when the email conversations are during the wee hours of the mornings but he usually tells me he's up working on a new design of something or rigging a boat for a trip. I'd love to know where he and Luther Cifers (from YakAttack) get all their energy to work nonstop!
I sure hope Elizabeth has a lot of patience!!
