Today on a Malibu X-Caliber in lime from OEX Mission Bay.

I'd been talking to them about a Blem X-Factor and Stealth when they let me know about an X-Caliber Blem that they were made aware of at the factory.

Got a call this morning that it was mine if I wanted it, and pulled the trigger!

$499 plus 77 bucks for shipping to my door, not bad I thought.

This is my first yak so I won't have a lot to compare it too but will do an in depth review over time.

Will post pics when it shows up  :smt003

Thanks guys - can't wait.

Now to decide on a seat, I like the Crazy Creek SOT Kayak Chair III but they're out of stock everywhere

Took it for its maiden voyage on Sunday at Lodi lake.

Big shout out to Headwaters for letting me borrow a seat - mine didn't make it in time!

Rented the lady a kayak too so she could see if this is something she wants to do as well.

Impressed with it so far. Very stable, tracks well. Some hull slap.

My NRS vest hadn't come either so I took off my jet skiing prd at this point due to discomfort. Girlfriend is a former lifeguard :) and Lodi lake is pretty calm.
