I have a buddy with one.  Works great.  He likes it a lot.

I have the arlo system.  I like that for my needs.  Allows you to have multiple cameras, and the cameras are all wireless which is nice since I didnt want to run wires to all the locations I have them.  Also, I can move them around if I want to.

I've had one for over a year.  I love it.  I see all my packages being delivered, my daughter sends me quick video messages sometimes, and I scare away solicitors.

We have the Ring Pro ( wired version).  It has been surprisingly useful, especially when we are away and someone stops by unexpected, you can answer and chat with them.  Also nice to be alerted when packages are delivered so you can bring them in before the porch pirates get them. Works as a game cam too! Have captured all sorts of wildlife traversing our front yard in the evenings.

We have had ours for months. Ring 2, wireless.

Lots of great features and uses. Even my Apple employee friends own Ring instead of Nest.

I’ve had mine for 2 years and love it! Also installed them in my mom and sisters houses. I also have the floodlight cams which are awesome too.

Where is the Ring video stored? Cloud?
If so, what’s the fee and how long is it stored?

Thanks,
Al

I have an 8-camera Qsee system but, after updating the software several months ago, can no longer check via the cell phone.

It is cloud based storage. There's an annual fee.  I dont recall the storage time or memory limit though.  I do recall you can mark videos for archiving to prevent deletion though. Everything will loop and drop off eventually.

How are those attached to the wall?  It looks like a bad guy would just pop it off with a screwdriver. They look like they're intended to be mounted at eye level... ??

i had the ring for over 8 months and recently someone came and popped it off and stole the unit completely off the wall.

The great news that Ring will replace the stolen doorbell after you file a police report. I got a replacement in a week...awesome customer service!!

Its very useful!! I'm finding a better solution on anchoring it in the wall at the moment before putting the new one on. Thinking longer screws or some type of anchor.

I was going to do a snap toggle bolt but the smallest size is too big. going to find another type of toggle bolt (wing style) so it will be a little tougher for them to steal it.

Did the camera capture the thief picture?
