Hobie Kayaks / My OG Hobie Tandem

So I am guessing this is an original Hobie Tandem. All it says is Hobie Tandem. There is some work to be done. The rudder Is a goner, still attached but not in working order. There is a small crack and the water slowly leaks in. Nothing some hot plastic can't take care of. I am excited to fix the boat up. It should be a fun time. I feel like those people who say they drive a BMW, but when you see it it's a beater.

For Sale / 2011 Cobra Marauder for Sale $925

***Posting this again incase you have not seen it***

I am selling my 2011 Cobra Marauder. This kayak has 4 rod holders, A-hatch, round hatch with bait container, Square hatch with cutting board and live well option, and Tank straps. The kayak is already rigged for a rudder.

I have only used this boat a few times and its in great condition. Had it for a month and half.

The kayak is 14'3" and holds 475 lbs.

If you have any questions regarding this great kayak let me know, hoping it goes to a great home.

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Doran Beach Crabbing 5/20-5/21

Was thinking of hitting Doran Beach on Friday night and soaking some boxes overnight and in the morning. I know SuperDan was planning on going with some friends. Is anybody else down for this. I can try and see if they have any sites for Friday night. Does anybody know if you can just sleep in your truck overnight without paying for a camp site?

I get out of work at 5:30 and could probably get there around 7:30, if I can I will go in an hour early so I can get off at 4:30.

I have two sets of Thule Hull-a-port XT's. These are no longer made, the only difference is that the new ones don't come with the pads. Only the pro's do.

So after having dinner with my uncle tonight, I told him I wanted to go out and get me some abs. I have never gone diving for abalone. He showed me this from I believe last year. Now I really want to go. It measured at 11"

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Fish Finders

Ok so I am looking into getting a fish finder for my Cobra Navigator. There are so many options out there that I don't know where to start. I kind of like the Humminbird® PiranhaMAX 160 PT Fishfinder, it comes together with a battery and is easy to pack up? Does anybody use this FF? Thanks for the help.
