Did they say anything about Copper?

Regulations were passed by the Commission this morning. After the presentation by Marci Yaremko she said she wanted to thank all of the persons involved with providing input to staff. The first person she recognized was Paul Chang.

Thank you Paul for giving kayak fishermen a voice in the process. And thanks for speaking today to the commission about keeping our petition in their thoughts.

🙌🙌

General Talk / Sunglasses that I highly recommend
« on: March 25, 2024, 07:10:08 PM »
If you are in the market for a new pair of sunglasses, I highly recommend Shady Rays.
I've wore them for 1.5 years and they are holding up very good.
They are affordable yet very good quality and they have amazing warranty.

A screen shot of the fishing license is good enough since I was asked and shown it to a game warden the day I caught my PB Halibut.

That's great.

Update: NVM, App works offline  :smt007 :smt007

What do you do if you have no signal? Is screenshot of your license sufficient enough? Just installed the app.

This is awesome! Thanks for the info Paul

Download the CSV file from: https://wildlife.ca.gov/Conservation/Marine/Groundfish#287201301-20-fm-line

Or GPX file converted by Alain S. (AlsHobieOutback) from: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1AVB0Tvp3kXbomgo186fdGnpUPvrpSZM&usp=sharing

CDFW revised the draft version based on the comments they received.

Upload to your fish finder and prepare for the anticipated May 1 nearshore opening date.

Paul

I like the revised version 😊

I’m reading a 6 week window in SF management area?  I guess that’s a start?

6-month nearshore (<20fm) rockfish season for SF, Mendocino, and Northern Management areas.

Paul
I must've done the month math wrong.  I found a chart on the cdfw page that I read over and over in shock so thanks for confirming better results.  I believe I found the schedule for last years debacle.   :smt006

You gonna go out with me for some ling this year Eddie?

Thanks for the report Kevin
