No love for me today. The wind and current pushed me down to Ballena Bay before I realized it and started a long paddle back. Didn't help that I tangled up with three shore fishermen lines during the paddle. Here are some pics.

Howard,
Great pictures as usual.  Unfortunately, I had to miss a great event due to some family visiting from the East Coast.

Yakhopper, Thank you so much for the putting this together!!

I managed to catch a 26.5 incher!  Drove down with fishing buddy, Ernest aka Lucky13.  Started by buying 20 lively shiners at Mike's Bait in Oakland.  Got my only fish of the day with one of them. It was a slow over all BUT was a LOT of fun.  Met a lot of very nice people during the event.  Sorry no time for more details, gotta put my kid to bed.
Enjoy the pics and congrats to the winners.

Great day fishing with the NCKA.com club!

Thanks Eric and all the sponsors!

Congrats to those skilled enough to bring a Hali in!

I wish I could have stayed longer afterwards, but as a newbie it was great to meet more of my NCKA brothers and sisters!

Al, I'm gonna get a Mooch button soon! :smt001

Somebody helped me with my boat, Got a beer from someone, da blazer?
Please forgive my short term memory!

Craig, that was fun to see basically a Hali "how-to demonstration" OTW!

I learned a lot today. Hope to be doing the Hali beat-down soon :violent1:

Thanks to all, hope to fish with you soon,
Novofish

Well after hearing Craig pull off one of the closest hail marys' I've ever heard and fighting the tide all day. (WTG) I decided to take a run over one more spot. This being my first time to ARW, I wanted to check out as much of it as I could. As Craig mentioned the tourny ended right when the tide was really coming into shape. Not many fish were reported, but with the tide finally coming into shape I couldn't resist spending a little more time after the tourny finished. Well it payed off nicely with a 31"er on bait I caught locally.  :smt004 Made up for all the peddling. Better late than never. As much as I wanted to go socialize the water looked perfect and the bait were showing everywhere. There are times when everything just feels right and you know it's just a matter of time before your gonna get a takedown. It was the first time all day I felt that...... So most of my socializing was OTW, but it was great to see the gang, and to finally check out "The Wall" Eric, thanks for all your efforts, and I was happy to contribute to such a worthy cause. We are all thinking of ya Buddy...  A few weeks ago I smacked my nail at GMS4 and I've been waiting for it to release. Well Murphs' law. It started today. I'm on the water with a bandaid on it because it's starting to come up. With in minutes on the water, the bandaid comes off and now I've got a nail snagging on everything that's still plenty attached at the cuticle, but too sore to pull off. Catching on everything. Yeaouch!!! Can you say hangnail?
