I just purchased the green one. If you contact me and I'm able to commit to the second boat, I can get a small discount for the pair. Let me know ASAP, as these guys will not stick around for long.

I secured both kayaks, and it looks like I have at least two interested parties at present. You know who you are, please check your PMs.

Scott

How much are you asking?

He's not asking. He just bought from someone else who had two of them for sale. Don't know which one responded to him first to show interest in the second yak.

Actually, I did commit to purchasing both by putting down a 50% deposit. I got both for $1400, and will sell the gray one for what I paid for it - $700.The seller, as shown in the ad, was asking $750 per. Definitely not cheap, and it's more than I told myself that I'd pay when I started looking for a T160 2 hatch a year ago. The thing is, is that the number of twin-hatch T160s for sale seems to have dwindled down to nearly nothing recently.

I've purchased a boat from this seller before, he is also the individual that sold Mooch his T160. The boats that he sells are always in very good shape. The green boat looks new, and the gray boat nearly new.

I've got one person who still has the option to purchase, but am more than happy to put someone else down as a potential buyer.

Regards,
Scott

Oh, sorry about that, Scott. I had presumed that the second one was also already a done deal.

John,

I have no idea whether or not bungle got his boat from this seller.

And he didn't have to tell me that these boats are rare and getting rarer.  At least now I get to be in your club ;)

It's the same guy from Morro Bay.  His name is Victor and he resells used kayaks.  Most of which he finds on Craigslist.  He sold Mooch and Bungle their T160's and he tried to sell me one too, but the price was too high.    He also charges $50 to deliver the boats up to the Bay Area.

Sweet boat.  I paddled 1crazyindian's T-160i at bendo and see the appeal, that is a fast, quiet hull.  I know everyone is bonkers over the old big hatch, but the tw didn't seem too bad either, but you gotta stuff rods through the bow.  I'm so lazy these days I rarely stuff rods anyway.  Anyways, nice score.
