Danglin, nice ride for the kids.  I bought my boy the 20" Specialized a few months ago and he loves that thing.  When we were at Mikes Bikes I caught him eyeing the 24".  He later told me that if I was going to want him to ride with me he was going to need a new bike.  I had to convince him that he's still a bit too small for the 24".

I haven't found time to get the bike out there yet.  Since I'm working from home today I think I'll take it for a ride down the trail to shoreline park.

Well, I was finally able to get out there and take the bike for a ride.  I live right next to the Stevens Creek trail to Shoreline Park so I headed towards the park.  It's mostly paved but there are some rock/dirt sections where you can ride.  Instead of going to the park I headed right and followed the trails to the tidal marshes.  I had never been out as far as I went today...and found that you can actually hunt water fowl out there (it might be common knowledge to all of you hunters though).  Have any of you hunted the area?

The hunters must go out there really early because I've never seen them and I can't imagine the look on peoples faces when they're out there running/biking and they notice some guy in cammies carrying a shot gun and a bunch of dead birds back to their car.   :smt044

I realized today after this bike ride that this has really been a lazy year for me, I was pretty winded.  I didn't do much much fishing/diving, no hiking, and very little biking.  I'm starting to think that it isn't just Arts camera that is adding the extra ten pounds.  :smt003
