I should have mentioned its a 2012 in case that makes a difference. I also had the screw that holds the rudder on fall out just as I got to gimme shelter. I was worried my rudder was broken for a minute.

Is there room for lock washers?  or if its a screw with a nut you can get SS aircraft cocking nuts.  Or use LocTite.

I believe the "nut" is embedded in the plastic. It seems hard to tighten it tight against the fabric of the handle. I also don't want to really crank on it and risk stripping the nut, since I don't think it can be replaced.

I lost one of my screws from the handles. Contacted WS with no response but I contact my local WS dealer and they just gave me one for free because I bought mine tarpon 150 from them.

I've been meaning to update this topic. I had a screw in the front handle come completely out. It looks like it just screws into the plastic. I doubt locktite will help. I'll probable need to get a longer screw and see if I can put a nylock nut on the inside.

Before you nylock it, throw a stainless fender washer or a stack of a couple of washers on it, each a different size. This will keep it from pulling through the plastic over time.
