Come on out! It's time to play. It's time for TROUT Bass and STRIPER. Let go of the hand brake!

Looks like the trailer would match the GVW of the towing vehicle LOL.  That amount of profile, better watch out for wind shear!

Seeing that on the hwy, I'd totally bust out my camera phone, too.   :smt044

Pulling power generally isn't the problem, stopping is.....especially with bad drivers cutting you off all the time, how does she handle?

Kids don't try this at home :smt044  VW cabriolets empty weigh 3150lbs (=ford explorer)... I've upgraded the engine, cooling system, brakes, suspension, tires, Transmission and mounts, Sterio (most important part) :smt044 130 hp :smt005 Trailer 400# as it sits. Wind is a concern but trucks on a 2 lane passing have no effect on it. As okie as it gets but safe and sane (well a bit insane)  :smt044 :smt044 4th gear 55mph 80 to donner no problem 28mpg (38mpg no load) Had a VR6 2.8l for 2 mo's but couldn't keep it on the ground :smt003 Love my little toy

I got a chuckle out of seeing you pull up at the ARW in that car...        First thing I thought was,  " that's creative " .

I LOVE YOUR CAR!

That whole rig is honestly one of the best uses of technology and DIY to achieve what would otherwise be considered un-do-able that I have seen (towing a trailer with a convertible; transporting kayaks with a convertible; both!).

Thanks for the pics
