Defiinitely curious about the pedaling comfort factor over the course of a day as compared to the mirage drive. Also interested in if this is positioned to allow for more deck space than the Hobie . IMO lack of deck space is the Hobie mirages' biggest issue. Will the speed be comparable or better than an Outback? I'm assuming propeller drive or is this something new?
The reversing option sounds cool.

Same deck space as ALL of our kayak line. More than hobie for sure. Should be faster than an outback and same as Revo 13, depending which kayak the drive is in. The electric motor will go 7.8 mph for 6 hours I am told.

But does it have, like Hobies, an attractive "yakgina?"

Same as on the kayaks you and PolePole paddled.  Not as attractive as the Hobie counterpart.

Looks like the Native pedal system? They're gonna make some $ by licensing it out to Wilderness if that's the case. Smart.

I guess we know what you'll be using pretty soon Rob? Hope they can make an updated T-160 with the drive I bet.

I do not know. Motor drive debut at ICAST and pedal drive debut at OR in August. My best guess is end of year.

Love the modular design.  That's something that Wildy has been doing great the past few years, makes conversion easier.  Is it prop driven or some sort of jet?

I watched the video again. Looks totally different than the Native Propel Drive. Can't wait to see it though. My next kayak will be a pedal boat. This is really exciting. Now if they could do it in the ultralight material to bring the weight of the boat down.
