i love linda mar. i always get limit of crabs there when i go. i launch form the southern side where its calmer a bit and on occasion go through the surfers. they usually just smile since its not like you'll be sitting in the lineup with them. i have never had a sour encounter there actually. people there seem pleasant.

for bait i use cans of tuna with a few holes poked in them and then i catch a few kingfish and kind of score them with a knife to make them bleed. stay away from the south part of the cove and move towards the middle. too close to the sides you will get rock crabs. i usually get them in like 40 feet of water and stick around my float or else i cant keep track of it.

im getting hungry already.
