Kayak Crabbing Seminar and Cooking Demonstration (Sunday December 15, 2019)

Hey guys,

The CCK fishing team wants to invite the kayak fishing community to our event at CCK redwood city. Tammy and Keith(The owners) want to extend their place to host more community oriented gatherings and events in the future.

I'll be going out and getting fresh crabs prior to event day, but anybody is welcome to donate fresh crabs to the demonstration and community pot luck. Either way we gonna be eating good like all NCKA type events. Hope you guys can attend and have some fun with us. --TLA

Given the large number of new entrants into the kayak fishing world with no prior water sport or ocean experience these days......you gonna work safety/how to use a radio/dress for immersion/managing boat traffic into that presentation?

I would have to talk to the team about adding that in, but i agree with you completely about safety. I think there is ample information on the web, articles, youtube videos. I have also wrote extensively on this issue on my blogs and articles. Thanks for bringing this up let me touch base with the team. --Keith

Michael hope you can come! I have updated the first post with the flier. I will incorporate a safety essentials talking points in the seminar. One of the team members will cover it, or else i will. The resource is free. It is there, and it is widely available.  Help me get the word out so new people can benefit from this knowledge before there is another "Rescue".
