Title: Lower Mokelumne River Video Report 09/18
Post by: MooMoo Outdoors on September 25, 2017, 09:37:39 PM
First of all, it was truly a blast last Saturday at Simply Fishing and my Simply Fishing Video Report will be posted in few days.

Matt (racer414) and I went out to lower Moke river for some rainbow/steelhead trout and bass action last Monday. I was very surprise that that section of the river was holding such a good size rainbow/steelhead. The area looked very much like Cosumnes River (very bassy) so I started out with wacky rig senko and landed a 18.25 inch trout with it  :laughing6:. Most part of the day I thew wacky rig senko in attempt to catch another trout with it but ended up with a couple of bass and my very first pikeminnow. Matt used proper trout lures all day and landed 4 trout and 2 bass.

That’s a good area to fish, anytime the bite gets slow just throw a grub and you’ll get the numbers.
