If you still dive from a banks board, you miss out something.
I just make 3 clips in the back. Gun, game bag to the clips.
It's an awesome boat for diving IMO.
I am eyeing a Threaher now since it has a rod pod for gun storage. :smt006

Thanks Chet,
I have a 140 just haven't rigged it for diving yet. This will be my first season diving with it.
The Thresher looks awesome with the storage

I put a flat 1 inch webbing strap across the center of the front hatch. . I use it to strap down my fins, 2nd half of my 2-piece wetsuit, mask and gloves. i have a milk crate in the back for the weight belt, ab iron and gauge. I also store all my catch in the back either in the milk crate or behind it. I use the paddle holder bungee to hold my speargun.

I always  keep a kelp clip on the ready……right next to the roach clip.  :white

Kelp clip is all you NEED, Joe (bloodbath) has nice flag mounts which are nearly a necessity. Flags too, Joe? I have a couple tuna clips on the rear bungees for securing my gun in the tank well.

FYI, you have have problems getting a speargun into the front hatch of a 140? My 80cm barely makes it into my 160.

You will need an anchor if you head north for abs. I put a large float at the end of mine and clip to the buoy with a kelp clip. I don't like to be hard tied to the boat.

Jeremy,
You mean mounts for a dive flag right?

Yep, for a dive flag. Pacific Nalu makes them

The 140 and the 160 have the same front hatch and are the same dimension from the hatch back. If the 80 fits in the 160 it will fit in the 140. If any of you are at GS this week I will have both the 140 and 155 Thresher there for test drives and dives. Just let me know you want use it. They will be on my trailer at  the beach if I am on my Tarpon 160. I will tell you the hiding place for the key and you can take them out. I will be free and scuba diving from both of them. I have not tried to put my 75 in the thresher hatch yet.

I hear there is no kelp to tie off to right now so better bring an anchor and a long line.

As for a shot gun, I don't think it will fit in the new center hatch without disassembly. It fits in my tarpon 160 front hatch after disassembly now. I can check if you need me to.
