Title: Victor G relief effort/ Albion Open 2018 Reg.
Post by: ravensblack on October 13, 2017, 05:56:12 AM: Good morning. It's Friday the 13th. That's not a bad thing. Today we can help a brother in need and pay for your Albion Open 2018 registration at the same time. Victor Gonzales' home was destroyed in Coffe Park this week. He was away on a camping trip so he still has his tent trailer, kayaks, his dog and friends. He lost most of his equipment to do his work. Victor Gonzalez is a self employed painter Victors attitude is upbeat and positive. I want to help him recover. What I'm trying to do is that if you send my paypal account 25 bucks it will count towards your registration for The Albion Open 2018. All money recieved will be handed over to Victor as it comes in. My paypal account is ravensblack52@yahoo.com. Make sure you send it for friends and family. Include your name and NCKA handle if you have one. I will update a list periodically. Please help me help one of our own. If you are planning on coming to Albion next year anyway, it's a great way to register. When registration comes out next year in May please indicate on the form that you donated to Victor and I will cross check the list. Thank you. Craig.

This map is not accurate as more homes burned but it's pretty spooky that it only took a few hours to wipe this neighborhood out. I marked my old house with a yellow dot.

I have transferred the funds to my account and as soon as it goes through I will be giving Victor 2K. Hopefully today as it takes one business day for funds to transfer. I have called Victor and let him know what we are all doing. I was on the verge of tears knowing how much we all care for each other in our fishing and diving community. I’m still offering the 2018 Albion registration for a $25 donation. I’ll keep this going for awhile longer or until Victor says stop. Lol. I am remembering my first time attending a NCKA Event, Albion 2015. I was new to the NCKA Community and I called you about needing a place to camp out. You hooked me up with Reuben L. to be able to camp out in his space. This was a big deal as I was going by myself for the first time. Albion 2015 continuous to be the one event that I measure myself to feel more comfortable going over large swell/swells and treacherous ocean conditions and personal best of 8# and 7# Vermillions.
I was once a recipient of your generosity and I can only imagine how Victor feels. So many people, so many guys showing up to help another in a big way.

Sorry Vic, bad enough that you lost so much in the fire and then I offer a bottle of Hennessy. Don't want to poison you so I'll replace the Hennessy with Jameson.
