A few of my bigger fish so far from 2014

Fish are from Clear Lake, Spring Lake, and the Delta.  Biggest one was 8.4lbs.  Hoping to get a bigger one before the year is over.

Here's a decent spot from Shasta that my buddy Lowell (dalton#29) was apparently too bashful to share. He had 15lbs. in three fish that day! The PB tourney ran the previous Saturday was won with a team 5 fish limit of 16lbs. and the tourney Sunday was 12.5! This was two days later.

21"L x 19"G - 7.1lbs.

Personal best

Trust me that's just a big bait and my hand is huge. The fish was a solid 6 lbs

These pics are from Clear Lake CA, 3/30/15 to 4/2/15. We rented a house on the northwest side (link: http://www.vrbo.com/254616) and it was a fantastic week. Despite reported gusts of 40mph on the lake, our protected cove was windless and allowed me and a few friends to absolutely crush the largemouth before the spawn. We caught nearly all of the fish on dropshot robo worms, before switching to live shiners for our last day there. Apparently nothing beats a live minnow when you put it in front of a big bass, as our experience can attest. Also caught 3 catfish (10.5, 11, 16.5 lbs) on the shiners, which was a blast from a kayak. Must have boated 100 lbs of largemouth in all, many dozens in the 2-3 lb range and six over 5lbs, the biggest being around 7. Had one smallmouth too, didn't know they were in there.

My first time out on the Delta in my kayak and what a blast!  No lunkers however it was non stop action.  Here is a couple pics, one large mouth and one small mouth.  Both caught on Sassy Shad swim baits.  Spent some time looking for salmon and strippers however catching these bass was just too much fun to give up.  We stayed at the Tower Park KOA.
