Great ideas.   I am sure they will work.  Love the wrench.
I have been tying flies with doll or wig hair and the ling and rf love them.
Sometimes I have been attaching my flies to any heavy junk for extra fast sink.
I use gift wrap metallic ribbon

I noticed some struts in the metal junk pile at work and they turned into these Homemade Ling Bars.
The big one is 9 in.-8 oz.  The small one is  5 in.- 6.5 oz...
A piece of squid , a little jiggin and it should be Ling on!!!
Hope they work...
Should know in 1 1/2 weeks :smt002

We did a junk jig team challenge Team C.O.D versus  INSAYN Fishing Team. Rules were only hooks, snap swivels, and line allowed no other traditional tackle allowed. Here’s a few of mine.

Plastics Lures that’ll possibly snag and litter the ocean floor??? Maybe we should limit our waste down to lead and metal hooks.

No we never got to the on the water challenge. I intend on dropping them this season to see what I can “crank” up for a “trophy” fish.

scottymeboy, do you always put a trailing hook on your swimbaits?  Does it work well and not ruin the action of the bait?  My thoughts behind *not* putting a trailing hook would be to sift through the small bites and get the bigger fish with the larger bite...

Hey Jackson
No I rarely put the trailing(stinger) hook but thought it may help my hook up rate...I’ve had alot of chewed up swimbaits and figure it may help ( and it has) catching fish that don’ get the jighook.
Not sure of the swim action??
I’m experimenting all the time with random stuff and ideas.... hoping someday to get into the 40” club :smt002
