I don't have an opinion on the Tarpon 140 since I never paddle one.  I have a FnD and like it for the roomy, big rectangular hatched for easy storage, and you can't beat its stability.  On the other hand, you probably won't win any race but it tract fairly well and I don't have a need for fast yak to fish in the ocean or lakes.

First of all I would never buy a yak I hadn't test paddled.

second, at 130# I don't think you'd be happy with a boat that wide (FnD).

i had a F&G for 4 years and was very happy with it but at 130 I wouldn't want either of those boats. I think a Prowler or a T13 would suit you better

I Like Fish on the T140 it does not look or say if you get a seat and the one you demoed was probably a 2009 model they are comfortable not sure about the older models good luck on your hunt.

The Cobra FnD is a big guy boat. At 130 lbs, its more kayak than you need to push around. Don't worry, your boat will pop up sooner or later.
