Of all our gifted craftsmen out there in NCKA land?  I'm building the Heinous Bobber Trail 90.  It's a 6V system and I can't find an aftermarket speedo I want to use so......I decided I'd use the original that is usually housed in the headlight can.   I need to fabricate a housing for it chrome or brushed aluminum, fallback is black.  Housing has to have a little room in the bottom for wiring and a tab for mounting to top of the triple tree.

One of us has a way to do this, I betcha.  Pics for sizing, and also include an Angel shot of the HBT 90.

thanks

If you can provide a CAD model, I can laser cut one from black acrylic? Got a sketch?

I can make a sketch.  Would it need to be like the mechanical drawings we used to do in shop class in the 60's?  Or, are we talking CAD file "sketch?"  I know what CAD is, but don't have a program for it.  Might know someone who does though...

Keep the ideas coming, I am open.

Thanks

Bushy

A scull with it installed in the back and led head lamps in the eye sockets  just popped into my  head. Attach the jaw so it opens and closes with suspension travel. Human? Cow? Ling cod! Chrome the scull...

Come on out! It's time to play. It's time for TROUT Bass and STRIPER. Let go of the hand brake!

Use a scull?

A boat with one paddle?.....OH, a SKULL!  yeah that would be super cool.  Maybe my next build or the one after that I can go all George Barris on it.

Actually, I'm looking at the current speedo and thinking I maybe might just clean up the can and spray paint it black or powdercoat 'chrome' and integrate the wiring so it looks stripped-down cool.

Athletically more skilled than any football player ever.
I can see Bushy doing that when his project is completed.  :smt044
