Title: First Fresno Area Fishing Report

I got a chance to compile some photos and notes from my recent trips in and around the Fresno area. I made it to Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Shasta Lake, and a few other locations. The rainbows seemed to be the most willing to play, but I did run into a few small mouth at Shasta Lake. Special thanks to crazyfisher and Big Jim here on the forum for giving me pointers and all around great info! It is very much appreciated.

I'll be back in November, looking forward to meeting some more folks on the forum and of course doing some more fishing!

When its hot or when the salmon is hitting, I tend to migrate over to the coast. November would be a great time to target Striper at San Luis Reservior!! Let me know when you are back in November and we will hook up and search for them.

When you return it'll be time to start looking for steelies & sturgeon. With stripers, spots, crabs, and rockfish/lingcod in full swing. There's always something to fish for in CA.

That sounds awesome! Enjoying all the options for sure, it's a great state for fishing.
