RackIT lumber rack! you can find them cheap on craigslist!!!  They're invincible.  Side bars to keep your kayak sliding sideways while loading.  You can also drill in some ratchet straps to make your life easier.  Remember to wash truck down after a saltwater kayak trip, after 4-5 years you will see rust on your car/truck in places you'd never imagine.
