Question what do you think about Men who wear ankle bracelets?
How does your wife, husband or kids feel about guys who wear ankle bracelets for fashion not house arrest ones.
I'm not talking about a silver or gold girlie type of a ankle bracelet more of tribal warrior type surfer islander style. Made from hemp, leather and so forth.
The main reason I am asking this question is because the other night I made an attempt to put one of my hemp bracelets around my ankle. It was too small and ask my wife what you think if I was to buy/wear a ankle bracelet? Her reply was well it's kind of girly. She didn't say it was ugly on me.
My mother-in-law just got back from Florida and she went to a surf shop called Ron Jon's. she bought me a neat leather bracelet and the wife said its "adjustable and looks like it can be your first ankle bracelet" in a sarcastic jokingly tone of voice.
Well the bracelet fit and it was comfortable I walked around the house with it on. It didn't get in my way or bug me. So i do not see why it was so girly but I don't know maybe that's just me.
I could see myself or someone wearing one with flip flops, sandals water shoes or in a kayak/boat.
I'm looking forward to reading all the replies and I can't wait to see what people have to say about this topic so thanks and be honest pleas. I really want to know how the public views a guy wearing something like this.
Anyways this is the bracelet around my ankle.

2. If you wear it with Capri pants and opened toed pumps it will accentuate your calves and nails thus making it look more stylish.

Well, obviously some can pull it off better than others. You need to go full tilt.
We wore great looking beads back in the 70s but we also had long hair, bell bottom jeans and cool looking shirts.
Todd could wear that ankle bracelet and no one would even notice!

Article 1. The fanny pack. Dark leather preferably. Let them know you take your fanny pack seriously by wearing it on the front.
Article 2. Birkenstocks with tie dye socks. For maximum effect wear ankle bracelet over the sock.
Article 3. The Spedo. Foil wrapped cucumber sold separately.
